In 2014, The Center for Art in Wood in Old City, Pennsylvania, held an exhibition of Milan's work and his vast circle of influence. Curated by Jennifer Zwilling, it was the largest exhibition of its kind detailing Milan's work, as well as his inventive tools, techniques, and practices.
The forthcoming book, Emil Milan: Midcentury Master will include all of the work shown in the exhibition.
